It's all about establishing a mood in this panel. That's one of the most important things I've learned from studying Zaffino's artwork... sometimes it is more important to clearly establish a mood than to clearly see a character. I thought this moment was a great opportunity to take advantage of that.

Man, love ur art. is really good, the ambient that u recreat are over the top. Its a pitty that ur comic isent available here in my country (Argentina).
