Another new panel from Holliday. This scene is where a lot of growth happened for me, especially on handling the rendering on an environment during day time. Because my mark making tends to be more shape based (instead of line), contrasting the mood and time of scenes can be one of the most challenging experiences in creating a comic. I'll get into this a bit more on my next Holliday post. Until then, I'm going to try to get some sketching in. I need it! I miss it!
